Make the publishing calendar part of a wider employee workflow

A reviewed post and an up-to-date employee profile are two separate jobs. A marketing lead may approve the webinar facts, while the employee still needs the right company cover or current role on their profile.

If SocialCal already handles your drafts and sign-off, keep that process. Add Linkwiz when a lead also needs shared employee profile findings and a view of company participation. Agree who supports each employee and who owns the publishing plan.

Start with the employees behind the campaign

Before a launch or webinar campaign, create a Linkwiz company report for the employees taking part. Review the matrix for the company connections in their headlines, their covers, current company in the intro and workplace in Experience.

Open a finding to read the evidence and next step. Good examples from employees who passed a check can help someone see what to change without receiving a generic request to “improve your profile.” The team audit guide explains how to run the review.

Share the right asset or guidance with each person. A visitor should be able to understand the employee’s expertise and recognize the company they represent, while each employee keeps their own voice.

Add individual profile feedback where it helps

SocialCal also provides a free LinkedIn profile analyzer. It takes a public profile URL and describes structural checks plus AI feedback: an overall score, suggested headline, About critique and prioritized next steps. It also offers PDF export.

That overlaps with profile improvement and can give an employee useful writing feedback. Linkwiz adds the company lead’s shared review across employees, with evidence, practical follow-up and later scans to inspect changed findings.

Use the analyzer’s suggestions as input to the employee’s own update. Use a later available Linkwiz scan to review the live profile findings. SocialCal says repeat analyses may return a cached result, so an immediate repeat should not automatically be treated as a fresh view of an edited profile.

Turn the campaign into contributions employees can own

Example: your company is hosting a webinar on making video briefs clearer. Belle, an account executive, could share a question customers often ask before production starts. A customer success colleague could explain a lesson from helping a customer clarify their audience. Both connect to the campaign without repeating the same announcement.

SocialCal’s AI caption writer supports purpose-based drafts and adapting text for different networks. Give it the employee’s actual idea, audience and company facts, then edit the LinkedIn version so the person’s experience remains clear.

Use its content calendar to keep drafts and scheduled posts together. Filter the view to inspect the LinkedIn plan or the wider campaign, and adjust timing when the plan changes.

The LinkedIn publishing documentation focuses on personal profiles and native PDF documents. Plan around the publishing account actually supported, rather than assuming the same workflow posts to your Company Page.

Agree who reviews the post and who publishes it

An employee owns their personal LinkedIn voice. A company lead may help check campaign facts or a brand message, while the employee contributes their experience and agrees the final wording.

SocialCal’s Enterprise approval workflow lets you invite reviewers and flag posts for sign-off. Reviewers have an inbox and discussion pages without needing their own paid subscription. They can be assigned to specific client groups.

For Belle’s webinar post, choose the right campaign reviewer and flag the draft for approval. SocialCal documents one eligible reviewer making the decision; a content edit sends it back for review. If both brand and legal reviewers need to sign off, arrange that review before the final platform approval rather than assuming a built-in sequence.

For multiple brands, client profiles group social accounts and allow views to be filtered by client. That is account organization, distinct from the employee profiles being reviewed in Linkwiz.

Keep the publishing owner and reviewer roles clear. Free approvers can review and discuss posts, but do not receive the full dashboard. Shared calendar editing and assignments are still marked coming soon. Agree who applies requested changes and schedules the final version. The employee updates guide covers the Linkwiz side of that support.

Use AI help with the right context and permissions

SocialCal’s API and integrations documentation describes scheduling, listing and cancelling posts through an API key, no-code tools or an MCP-compatible assistant. The pricing page lists API access on Professional and Enterprise.

Linkwiz’s supported connections let assistants discuss accessible reports and activity. Employees can ask the conversational Slack agent for help or upload an exported personal optimization plan to their own assistant. See the team AI agent guide.

For the webinar, an assistant with supported access to both products can first summarize the employee findings, then help with the publishing plan. Connect each product separately and check the available actions. Giving the assistant one connection does not authorize the other, and there is no assumed direct synchronization.

Check which actions the connected account exposes. Asking an assistant to discuss a draft and asking it to schedule publication are different steps. Agree the final copy, employee account and timing before authorizing the publishing action.

Leave room for conversations beyond the calendar

A useful company post may need the expertise of someone who has no post scheduled that week. A colleague’s lesson may be a better place to participate than starting another announcement.

Linkwiz’s Activity Tracking supplies a focused feed around the company and employees, with captured interactions and supporting activity. Use the company engagement findings to understand where people may benefit from support.

The feed provides posts and context. Connected AI assistants and the conversational Slack agent can discuss a relevant post with an employee and help draft their contribution. The weekly recommendations guide explains how to make those opportunities easier to find.

SocialCal also documents inbox replies, keyword listening and DM automation for supported networks. Those are useful parts of social management, but a broad feature label should not be treated as proof of coverage for every LinkedIn workflow. Check network and account support for the specific action.

Review publishing results and employee progress together

SocialCal’s analytics page describes connected-account reporting, period and client filters, post-level review and CSV export. Use the available data to decide which content is worth developing for the next campaign.

SocialCal’s current analytics FAQ says LinkedIn publishing works, while LinkedIn analytics remains on the roadmap. Use available LinkedIn content results separately from SocialCal’s calendar, and use Linkwiz to review captured employee participation. Automated weekly and monthly analytics emails are also marked coming soon.

Linkwiz supports a different review: compare available scans for the same employees to inspect changed profile findings, then review captured company participation over a suitable period. Read the supporting contributions behind the totals.

The profile progress guide and engagement review guide explain those reviews. Use what you learn to improve the next round of profile support, conversations and employee posts.

Use the current SocialCal plan cards when budgeting, rather than an older promotional example elsewhere on the homepage. Confirm the current trial charge and renewal terms; the homepage states a seven-day trial with $1 activation.

If reviewers need to approve flagged posts, the documented plan is Enterprise. Reviewer-only accounts are free; that does not establish unlimited full-dashboard editor seats. Confirm your employee publishing-account arrangement before a broad rollout.

Linkwiz pricing separates tracked employees from workspace members. People appearing in a report do not each need a paid Linkwiz account. Budget for the employees being reviewed and the people operating each tool.

When does using both tools make sense?

SocialCal alone may be enough when your task is to draft, schedule and approve posts across supported accounts. Its free profile analyzer can also help an employee with individual feedback. You do not need another tool simply to add AI or a review step.

Add Linkwiz when someone needs to see which employees should update their profiles and how the team joins company conversations. Pilot one webinar campaign with Belle, a customer success colleague and an agreed reviewer. Assign profile updates, confirm the publishing accounts and check later profile findings and captured participation.

Use Enterprise when you need SocialCal’s documented approval gate, and check whether its single-reviewer decision fits your process. Decide who updates rejected drafts and reschedules them. Review the campaign’s content results separately; SocialCal’s LinkedIn analytics is not yet the basis for that report.

About this guide

By Linkwiz · Evidence reviewed 14 October 2026. Current official pricing, approval roles, LinkedIn publishing, analytics and calendar pages were read, alongside profile analyzer, writing and API/MCP material. The reused reports are labeled Example. No account created, profile submitted, trial purchased, connection installed or publishing action tested.

Current plan cards take precedence over older promotional amounts. The dedicated analytics FAQ explicitly places LinkedIn reporting on the roadmap, despite broad dashboard examples. Shared calendar editing and automated report emails remain marked coming soon. Paid features, account permissions and exact MCP actions were not tested.

Vendor reach, conversion and algorithm claims were not independently verified and are not presented as promised outcomes. Repeat analyzer results can be cached. Linkwiz progress requires available scans; activity reviews reflect captured contributions.
