Frequently asked questions

Before you start.

What is LinkedIn activity tracking, and what does Linkwiz track?

LinkedIn activity tracking brings public posts and interactions into one view to understand how people participate. Linkwiz creates a company report from selected profiles, covering posts, comments, reactions, reposts and mentions. It shows employee engagement with colleagues and company content, post performance, content patterns and interactions outside the organization.

Can I see how employees engage with colleagues and the company page?

Yes. The Team & company view shows observed interactions with colleagues and your company page. You can inspect who engaged with whom and open the supporting activity. Engagement checks also highlight opportunities to support company and colleague content.

Can I filter LinkedIn posts and activity by person or date?

Yes. The activity report includes profile, activity-type, date, search and sorting controls. You can focus LinkedIn post tracking on selected people and inspect the captured activity behind the report’s summaries.

How does Linkwiz analyze LinkedIn post performance?

Linkwiz compares a post’s reactions, comments and reposts with the author’s averages where comparable data is available. Virality measures how far total engagement is above or below the profile’s average total engagement per post. In the example on this page, 48 engagements versus an average of 30 gives +60% virality. Content analytics also shows publishing formats, media use, mentions, hashtags and activity patterns.

How can activity tracking support account-based marketing?

The external-network view shows observed interactions with people and company pages outside your organization. Teams can use that context to inform relationship building, social selling and account-based marketing. Public interactions do not establish buying intent.

Does Linkwiz access private messages or engage automatically?

No. Linkwiz analyzes public profile and activity information and provides recommendations. It does not access private messages or automatically publish posts, comment, connect or send messages. The report reflects captured activity, rather than a guarantee that every interaction is included.
