Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Linkwiz handles personal data across the Linkwiz website, Chrome extension, SaaS application, workspaces, reports, and related services.
Last updated: 28 August 2026
1. Who we are
Linkwiz is operated by Shapira Marketing LDA (“Linkwiz”, “we”, “us”). For applicable data-protection law, Linkwiz acts as controller for account, website, product, commercial, and support data. Depending on the service and instructions provided by a workspace, Linkwiz may also process report data on behalf of a customer.
Questions and data-subject requests may be sent to office@linkwiz.ai.
2. Scope
This policy covers linkwiz.ai, app.linkwiz.ai, ops operated for service administration, the Linkwiz Chrome extension, accounts, workspaces, collaboration features, report creation, profile and activity scans, scheduled rescans, public or indexable reports, communications, and support.
3. Data we collect
- Account and identity data: work email, name, password credentials managed by our authentication provider, job title, company, LinkedIn profile URL, account status, and login/security events.
- Workspace and collaboration data: workspace names, memberships, roles, invitations, report ownership, settings, permissions, and audit records.
- Report configuration: company name, domain, LinkedIn company URL, selected profile URLs, scan schedules, report visibility, publication settings, and creator details.
- Public professional data: publicly accessible profile and company-page information, profile text and metadata, public posts, comments, reactions, reposts, mentions, hashtags, public media, engagement counts, scan timestamps, and derived analysis.
- Extension and product data: settings, feature use, requests, diagnostics, browser and device information, and records needed to provide requested functionality.
- Communications and commercial data: support messages, feedback, sales correspondence, transaction status, subscription and billing identifiers, and records required for accounting or dispute handling. Payment-card details are handled by the checkout or payment provider and are not intended to be stored by Linkwiz.
- Website data: IP address, device/browser data, pages viewed, referral information, consent choices, and cookies or similar technologies described in our Cookie Policy.
4. Data about people who are not Linkwiz users
Reports can concern employees, executives, creators, companies, and other professionals who do not have a Linkwiz account. This information may be supplied by a customer or collected from publicly accessible professional sources. It can include professional identity, role, public profile content, public activity, public engagement, mentions, and analysis derived from those observations.
We process this information to provide requested business intelligence, profile optimization, activity tracking, comparative analysis, and report functionality. Where Linkwiz acts as controller, the usual legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing and improving professional research and intelligence services, balanced against the rights and reasonable expectations of the individuals concerned. Where a customer determines the purpose and means of processing, that customer is responsible for an appropriate legal basis and required notices.
5. Sources
Data comes from users and workspace collaborators, publicly accessible professional webpages and content, companies and report subjects, our extension and application, service providers, and technical logs. We do not intentionally collect information from private LinkedIn areas or circumvent access controls. Availability and completeness depend on what is publicly visible at scan time.
6. Why we use data and legal bases
- To create and manage accounts, workspaces, invitations, reports, scans, and support under our contract with users.
- To authenticate users, protect the service, prevent abuse, maintain auditability, and enforce limits based on contractual necessity, legitimate interests, and legal obligations.
- To collect and analyze requested public professional information and generate reports based on contractual necessity and legitimate interests, subject to applicable law.
- To publish a report when an authorized workspace member selects public visibility, and to make a report indexable only when Linkwiz separately approves marketing publication.
- To send transactional messages about invitations, scan completion, security, or service changes under our contract or legitimate interests.
- To improve performance and product quality using aggregated usage and diagnostics based on legitimate interests; where law requires consent for analytics or similar technology, we request it first.
- To satisfy tax, accounting, legal, regulatory, and dispute obligations.
Where we rely on consent, it may be withdrawn at any time without affecting earlier processing.
7. Public and indexable reports
A private report is available to members of its workspace according to their role. A public report can be viewed by anyone with its link and may be shared beyond the workspace. A smaller set of Linkwiz-approved marketing reports may be published on linkwiz.ai, included in sitemaps, and indexed by search engines or processed by AI and other discovery services. Public publication may expose professional information about report subjects. Workspace owners and editors should verify that their use and publication are lawful and appropriate.
Making a customer report public does not automatically make it an indexable Linkwiz marketing report. Marketing publication is a separate administrative decision.
8. Sharing and processors
We share data only as needed with infrastructure, database, authentication, hosting, email, customer-support/chat, analytics, security, payment, and professional-adviser providers; with workspace collaborators according to their roles; with the public when a report is intentionally public or indexable; during a corporate transaction; or when required by law. Providers are authorized to process data for contracted purposes and are expected to apply appropriate safeguards.
Current service providers may include Webflow for the website and Cloud-hosted report pages, Vercel for application hosting, Supabase for database/authentication/storage, Resend for transactional email, Tawk.to for chat when initiated or permitted, and payment providers shown at checkout.
9. International transfers
Linkwiz and its providers may process data in countries outside the country where a person is located. Where required, we use recognized safeguards such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, provider contractual commitments, and supplementary security measures. Contact us for more information about relevant safeguards.
10. Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including active accounts and workspaces, report history and snapshots, scheduled scans, security, support, legal obligations, and dispute resolution. Retention varies by data type and customer settings. Public-source data may remain in historical report snapshots until the report, profile, workspace, or account is deleted or another retention action applies. Backup copies and audit records may remain for a limited period after deletion. We may retain de-identified or aggregated information where it no longer identifies a person.
11. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect data, including access controls, role-based permissions, encrypted transport, managed infrastructure, logging, and restricted administrative functions. No system can guarantee absolute security. Users must protect credentials, invite only appropriate collaborators, and promptly report suspected misuse.
12. Your rights
Depending on location and context, a person may have rights to information, access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, and a complaint to a supervisory authority. Requests may be sent to office@linkwiz.ai. We may request information necessary to verify identity and locate relevant records. Some rights are limited by law, the rights of others, legal obligations, or whether Linkwiz acts for a customer; in the latter case we may direct the request to that customer.
13. Children
Linkwiz is a business service and is not directed to children. Users must be old enough to enter a binding agreement in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly solicit children’s personal data.
14. Automated analysis
Linkwiz calculates scores, comparisons, engagement measures, virality indicators, summaries, and recommendations from scanned information. These outputs support human review and are not intended to make legal or similarly significant decisions about individuals. Results can be incomplete, contextual, or inaccurate and should be evaluated by a person.
15. Changes
We may update this policy as products, providers, or legal requirements change. The current version and date will appear here. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or email where appropriate.
16. Contact
For privacy questions, requests, or complaints, email office@linkwiz.ai or visit Contact Linkwiz.
