A free profile review or a company process?

If you already use ChatGPT or Claude to improve your profile, a free audit may give you enough direction. A team lead has another job: find who needs help, share company examples and check whether employees made the updates.

LinkedInRank provides personal PDF feedback and a way to continue with AI. Linkwiz organizes findings and follow-up across the company’s employees. The decision is whether you need help with your own wording or a shared process for the team.

Use Linkwiz to turn a company review into individual updates

Imagine you are running a profile workshop for a sales team. You want customers to understand each person’s role and recognize the company. Some employees need a company cover image; others need to update a headline or current workplace.

Start with a Linkwiz company report. Review employees together, then open a finding to read its evidence and recommended next step. The team profile audit guide explains the process.

Share the company cover and good examples from colleagues who passed a check. Help each person make the update relevant to their role. A shared company connection can sit alongside individual expertise and voice.

Employees included in the report do not each need a Linkwiz account. Workspace members manage the review and follow-up.

Use LinkedInRank for a quick review of your own profile

The LinkedInRank audit starts with a LinkedIn profile PDF. Export your profile, upload the file and use the section feedback to decide where to begin.

Its score explanation describes a score out of 100 across headline, About, experience, skills, education and profile completeness. The focus is presenting your experience clearly, using relevant keywords and improving the way achievements are described.

For someone preparing for a role or refreshing their professional story, this provides an individual starting point. Review a recommendation against your actual experience, edit the live profile and export a newer PDF when you want another review.

Take a personal audit into ChatGPT or Claude

The free tools directory includes headline, About and experience generators, a keyword analyzer and a PDF-to-resume tool. It also lists post ideas, hooks, a content planner, comment help and connection-note tools.

That means the product goes beyond giving a score. A person can work on a particular section or turn their ideas into a draft. Keep the wording specific to their real role and achievements; only include results they can support.

The LinkedInRank FAQ describes “Copy AI Prompt” on the results page. Copy the prompt, add your profile PDF to ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, and ask for section rewrites. This gives the assistant the exported profile you supplied.

Linkwiz also supports an exported personal plan for an employee’s AI assistant. With a supported Linkwiz connection, ChatGPT, Claude, Codex or the Slack agent can discuss accessible report findings and activity context. Use the connection to review the relevant report; use the file when the employee does not have a connector. See the team AI agent guide for those options.

For a team, decide who will organize the follow-up

For a small workshop, employees can run a free audit, discuss their wording in AI and bring questions to the manager. Agree which updates matter to the company and how people will confirm they made them. A personal score alone does not complete that follow-up.

Linkwiz gives that manager a company view to work from: who needs which update, the evidence behind it and the next step. Use employee update guidance and examples from profiles that passed the relevant checks.

Use the personal workflow when you can manage the follow-up yourself. Choose a company report when you need employee findings, supporting examples and later reviews together. AI writing is useful in both; organizing the team’s work is the additional decision.

Follow improvement after people update their profiles

LinkedInRank’s FAQ describes “Save PDF Report” and submitting a new export after edits. Save a dated report before changing the profile, then export the updated profile for the next review. Compare the actual wording as well as the scores; an old PDF is a record of the earlier profile.

Linkwiz’s profile progress workflow compares available scans for the same employees. A lead can inspect changed findings and decide which people still need support.

The useful question is what improved. For a person, it might be a clearer description of their work. For a company review, it might be a current workplace or an updated cover. Read the changes behind a score or status rather than treating either as the whole result.

Writing a comment and finding the right post are different steps

LinkedInRank’s tools can help draft posts, hooks or comments. That writing support is useful once a person has a topic or conversation to contribute to.

Linkwiz’s Activity Tracking supplies a focused feed around the company and colleagues, with the captured interactions behind the participation totals.

Through connected assistants and team chat, an employee can discuss a post from that feed and get help drafting a contribution. Linkwiz supplies the posts and context; the assistant supplies the conversational help.

For a team lead, this connects profile improvements with a practical way to participate around company conversations.

Linkwiz pricing separates tracked people from workspace members. The employees being reviewed do not each need a paid account.

Start with LinkedInRank if one person needs a free review and can manage their own updates. Consider Linkwiz when the work includes coordinating employees, sharing company examples and reviewing later findings. Compare the coordination you need alongside the price.

Which should you choose?

Choose Linkwiz when you are responsible for employees’ company presence on LinkedIn: review their profiles together, help them make updates, follow improvement and support relevant participation.

Choose LinkedInRank when you want a free personal PDF audit, section-writing tools or a report to continue working on in your AI assistant.

Use both when employees want personal writing feedback and the manager needs a company-wide follow-up. If the free audit and your existing process cover the job, you do not need another workspace just for AI rewrites. No direct integration between the two products is assumed.

About this comparison

By Linkwiz · Evidence reviewed 14 October 2026. Current public audit, scoring, tool-directory and live FAQ material was reviewed. Report saving, re-uploading and AI prompt instructions were checked in the FAQ. No personal profile was uploaded and no generated audit or rewrite was tested. The Linkwiz report is labeled Example.

The comparison describes documented workflows. LinkedInRank’s score and benchmark language belong to that provider; a higher score is not treated here as a verified LinkedIn search position, recruiter outcome or official LinkedIn rating. Generated text should reflect the person’s real work.

Group, integration and progress features not established in the reviewed material are not assumed unavailable in every possible arrangement. Linkwiz progress requires multiple available scans and consistent employee selection. Activity totals reflect captured interactions, not a causal business outcome.
