Connect profile preparation with your company’s social program
A company can run an organized publishing calendar and employee advocacy program while some employees still have an outdated workplace or a headline that makes the company connection hard to recognize. Those profile details matter when someone clicks through from a post or comment.
Use Linkwiz to organize employee profile updates and review company-related activity. Use Hootsuite to operate the publishing, audience-response and advocacy workflows you have selected. Parliament, formerly Amplify, is Hootsuite’s employee advocacy product: it helps employees discover and share approved content.
| Your team’s job | Use Linkwiz for | Use Hootsuite for |
|---|---|---|
| Prepare the people | Review employee profile findings and organize specific updates. | Prepare approved content and the publishing or advocacy program. |

| Review and publish | Support each employee’s next steps and profile updates. | Run channel permissions, content approvals and scheduling. |
| Help people participate | Find company and colleague posts and discuss a relevant contribution. | Use Parliament to distribute approved content for employees to share. |

Prepare employees before asking them to share more
Example: a marketing lead is launching an employee advocacy program. Some participants need the company cover, others have an outdated workplace, and several could explain their role and company connection more clearly in their headline.
Linkwiz brings those findings into a company report. Review employees in the matrix, open a finding and read its evidence and next step. The team profile audit guide explains how to make that review useful.

Send the actual company asset or a useful example from a colleague who passed the check. Let employees explain their own expertise, then review the later available profile findings. The employee updates guide covers that handoff.
Hootsuite’s free bio generator includes LinkedIn among its network options. It can supply wording ideas from the details entered. Treat those as drafts to review; a writing tool and a shared record of employee profile findings do different work.
Keep company publishing and approvals in Hootsuite
Hootsuite’s publishing product, Perch, handles content creation, planning and scheduling. Its LinkedIn publishing guide covers profiles and Pages, with drafting, media and review options.
Decide which account owns each post. A company announcement may belong on the Page; an employee’s practical lesson can belong on their own profile. Agree the context and review the wording for the intended author.
The current approval documentation lists Advanced, Business and Enterprise access. Teams can route content through the agreed review process, with approval history showing who handled it.
Use Linkwiz separately to organize employee profile follow-up. A person whose profile appears in a report does not automatically need a seat in the company publishing workspace.
Use Parliament for approved content employees can share
Parliament gives employees, executives and other advocates a collection of approved content to share. It also reports on participation and content results, so Hootsuite should not be treated as only a company Page scheduler.
Admins choose how much employees can personalize a post. The program preferences cover content suggestions, locked wording and LinkedIn reposts with comments. Match those settings to the message: some announcements need fixed wording, while other topics benefit from the person’s experience.
Parliament also offers Slack and Microsoft Teams connections. Employees can discover the organization’s approved content through tools they already use. The Teams guide explains discovery and sharing in that interface.
Linkwiz adds an employee-specific profile review alongside that program. Use the report to make sure participating employees know which profile changes need attention, what company examples they can use and how to get help.
Give employees a useful way to join existing conversations
Sharing a prepared post is one way to participate. A relevant comment on a company announcement or a colleague’s post can also contribute expertise. Help people recognize a conversation that fits their work and decide what they can add.
Linkwiz’s Activity Tracking supplies company and colleague posts, captured interactions and supporting activity. Read the engagement findings to understand who may benefit from practical support.

The feed provides posts and context. Connected AI assistants and Linkwiz’s conversational Slack agent can discuss a contribution and help draft it. The weekly recommendations guide explains that workflow.
For example, a salesperson might bring a customer question to an existing company discussion. That can sit alongside the approved-content sharing program in Parliament. Keep the employee’s role and experience at the center of the invitation.
Use each product’s AI connection for the work it supports
Hootsuite’s Wisdom assistant supports research, brand-aware drafting and performance discussions. Its brand context comes from the connected organization; choose the right organization before starting the conversation.
Hootsuite also publishes AI connections for Perch, Nest, Lumen and Parliament. These cover their respective publishing, inbox, listening and advocacy workflows. The current Parliament FAQ and MCP page describe creating advocacy content and discovering or sharing approved posts through supported assistants.
Linkwiz’s team AI agent guide covers accessible employee profile findings and company-related activity. An employee can discuss a recommended update, upload their exported personal plan to their own assistant or ask the Linkwiz Slack agent for practical help.
If an assistant has both supported connections, keep requests specific. Example: review an employee’s Linkwiz findings, then prepare a draft for an authorized Hootsuite account or advocacy workflow. Confirm the author, destination and review process before publication. Each connection needs its own access; this guide does not describe direct product synchronization.
The Parliament page still marks its separate Wisdom-to-Parliament connection as coming soon. That is distinct from the Parliament MCP described on the current integrations page. Confirm your organization’s available features before planning a workflow around them.
Give company replies a clear owner
Employees contributing their own experience and the company replying to customers have different responsibilities. Hootsuite’s Nest inbox brings supported audience conversations into the organization’s response workflow.
Agree who answers as the company, which conversations need a colleague’s expertise and what should be escalated. Use the available assignment and approval settings for the plan you selected.
Linkwiz’s captured employee activity can help you understand participation around company and colleague posts. It is not a replacement for the inbox team’s ownership of customer conversations. Each person should know where to contribute and who will handle the company response.
Review advocacy results and profile improvement together
Hootsuite has its own content and advocacy reporting. Its current LinkedIn metrics documentation covers Pages and personal profiles, with profile availability depending on the plan and connection. Do not assume that every account type exposes the same metrics.
Parliament reports on member participation and sharing results. Use those reports to understand the approved-content program. The report types guide explains the broader reporting structure.
Linkwiz answers related employee questions: which profile findings changed and which company-related contributions were captured. Use the profile progress guide and engagement review guide to read those records.
Example: the advocacy lead reviews who shared the launch material in Parliament. The company lead reviews available employee profile changes and supporting interactions in Linkwiz. Those views can help decide whether to improve content, follow up on a profile change or offer someone more relevant support.
Compare consistent dates, employee groups and account types. Hootsuite distinguishes Page results occurring during a period from results for posts published during it. Its Parliament guidelines also note that the separate mobile-share feature is not tracked in Parliament analytics. Neither dataset should be treated as a complete record of every action or proof that participation caused a business result.
Budget for publishing seats, advocacy scope and tracked employees
| Option | Observed price | What to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Linkwiz Starter | $25/month or $250/year, USD. | 25 tracked people, 3 companies and 3 workspace members; profile optimization and activity tracking. |
| Hootsuite Standard | €99 per user/month, billed annually. | Up to 10 social accounts; current local pricing and seat count. |
| Hootsuite Professional | €199 per user/month, billed annually. | Unlimited social accounts and additional automation/reporting. |
| Hootsuite Advanced | €399 per user/month, billed annually. | Team approvals and expanded collaboration/customer-care workflows. |
| Hootsuite Enterprise / Parliament | Custom scope and pricing. | Advocate access, program capacity, integrations and required modules. |
The Hootsuite amounts above are the EUR prices observed on its current plans page, based on annual billing and excluding applicable taxes. Confirm your region, currency, billing period and the number of paid workspace users.
For Parliament, agree the advocacy offering with Hootsuite rather than assuming that a publishing seat includes every employee or module. The Enterprise page describes the broader customizable offering.
Linkwiz pricing separates tracked people from workspace members. Budget for who operates publishing and advocacy, and separately for the people and companies you want to review.
When does Linkwiz add value to Hootsuite?
Hootsuite can be enough when you need publishing, customer replies, content reporting or an employee advocacy program. Add Linkwiz when the next question is which employee profiles need company-related updates and which company or colleague conversations deserve their participation. Use the report and captured activity to give each person specific support, alongside Hootsuite’s content and advocacy workflows.
Give people approved content to share and specific conversations they could contribute to. Offer support through the applicable AI or team-chat workflow, with employees reviewing their own updates and contributions.
After people have had time to act, review the advocacy/content reports alongside available Linkwiz profile findings and activity. Use the evidence to improve the next round of support.

Reviewed current Hootsuite plans, Parliament, publishing, bio generator, Wisdom, MCP integrations, inbox and reporting material, plus official approval and advocacy documentation and current Linkwiz pricing/guides. Rechecked the public EUR pricing and Parliament MCP material. Some Help Center pages did not render during this recheck; the supporting help material was reviewed on 13 October. No Hootsuite account, trial, social channel, advocacy membership, AI connection or payment was created. Reused reports are labeled Example.
Hootsuite’s current names include Perch, Nest, Lumen, Wisdom and Parliament; some help URLs retain Amplify or OwlyGPT. This article covers the product family once. Parliament MCP is described on the current integrations page and live FAQ, while the separate Wisdom-to-Parliament connection remains marked coming soon. Some older indexed pages differ; plan-specific availability should be confirmed with Hootsuite.
Observed EUR prices use annual billing; private advocacy terms and paid functions were not tested. LinkedIn metric availability, reporting windows, mobile-share coverage and permissions matter. This guide describes complementary workflows, not a direct Linkwiz integration or a guaranteed outcome. Linkwiz progress requires available scans and activity reviews reflect captured contributions.
