A better profile for which audience?

A recruiter reading a graduate’s profile wants to understand their skills and experience. A potential customer visiting your account executive’s profile wants to understand their role, company and expertise. Both profiles should be clear, but the person supporting the update is answering a different question.

For a company lead, the choice is between organizing the current team’s LinkedIn presence and supporting people through a career program. Linkwiz addresses the first job. Aspire is VMock’s LinkedIn optimization module within the wider career platform.

Use Linkwiz to turn employee findings into a team plan

Before a company campaign, you might want sales and customer success profiles to reflect the current company. Who needs a cover image? Whose headline should explain their role more clearly? Who still has outdated workplace details?

Start with a company report, select the employees and review the findings together. Open a finding to read the evidence and recommended next step. The team profile audit guide shows this process.

Use colleagues who passed a check as practical examples. Share the right cover image, a useful headline example or a guide for updating company details. The team can share company context while each person keeps their own expertise and voice.

Employees included in the report do not each need a Linkwiz account. Workspace members manage the review and follow-up.

Use Aspire to connect your LinkedIn profile with your career goals

VMock’s candidate offering describes Aspire as a way to keep the story on your resume and public profile consistent for your target career tracks. The platform also includes resume feedback, Career Fit, a targeted job feed and pitch practice.

The Florida International University Aspire resource describes feedback on profile content, skills, visibility and the profile picture. Green, yellow and red feedback helps the user identify what to improve.

That resource also explains the handoff: test edits in Aspire, then copy and paste the changes into LinkedIn. Improving a draft inside a career tool and changing the live profile are separate steps.

UNSW’s Career AI guide also lists Aspire alongside CV editing, job-specific resume feedback and interview practice. This is a useful fit when LinkedIn is part of preparing for a job or internship.

VMock supports organizations too. Compare their goals

VMock’s higher-education offering includes virtual coaching, student performance tracking, appointments, communications and analytics. A career center can support a group through a connected career-services platform.

Its Corporate Career Center serves businesses as well. VMock describes workforce skills, career plans, internal job matching, coaching and support for employees moving to new opportunities.

For a People team planning employee development or internal mobility, that wider offer matters. For a marketing or sales leader coordinating current employees’ LinkedIn profiles and public participation, Linkwiz provides the more direct workflow.

Start with the outcome and the people who need access. A career program for eligible students or employees is a different purchase from reviewing the company details and participation of your current team.

Check Aspire access before planning a rollout

Institutional access can depend on the person’s school, program and graduation date. Emory’s VMock access guide lists current College of Arts & Sciences undergraduates and alumni within two years of graduation. Alumni must request access separately. Those are Emory’s terms, not a rule for every VMock customer.

Before promising Aspire to your team, confirm who is eligible, whether Aspire is included and which profile-edit allowances apply. Resume upload limits do not establish the allowances for LinkedIn feedback.

For a company rollout, ask VMock whether the proposed corporate package includes Aspire for your employees, which advisers or managers can help them, and what reporting is available. Its corporate career-development offer does not by itself establish those module entitlements. Request terms for that exact setup.

Give people help they can use

Linkwiz provides recommendations, evidence and guides in the report. Start there, then use a good example from the team or discuss an employee’s next step. The profile updates guide explains the follow-up.

With connected ChatGPT, Claude, Codex or Linkwiz in Slack, an employee can discuss accessible findings and get help applying them. An exported personal optimization plan can also be uploaded to their own AI assistant. The AI agent guide covers those options.

Aspire provides career-focused feedback within VMock. A career adviser can help someone decide which projects, achievements and skills support the opportunities they want. In either workflow, the person should review the wording and apply the live profile update.

Follow the kind of improvement you care about

For company presence, compare available Linkwiz scans for the same employees. See which findings changed and use the remaining evidence to decide who needs support. The profile progress guide shows the comparison.

Aspire lets a person test edits and refine their career profile. VMock’s wider career-services platform also tracks student performance and offers analytics. For a group program, ask which profile results advisers can review over time and whether those results describe edits inside Aspire or the live LinkedIn profile.

Ask what a report measures: changes in employees’ company details, a stronger career profile, or progress through a development program. A score in one workflow should not be treated as the same measure in another.

Connect profile improvements with company conversations

A company’s presence includes what its employees contribute. Linkwiz’s Activity Tracking supplies a focused feed and the captured interactions behind the totals.

Through connected AI assistants and team chat, people can discuss posts in that feed and get help drafting a comment, repost or post. Linkwiz supplies the activity context; the assistant supplies the conversational help.

VMock’s published career workflows cover preparation, skills and opportunities. If your goal is employee participation around company and colleague posts, evaluate that workflow directly rather than assuming a career-services dashboard measures it.

Linkwiz pricing separates the people being tracked from the workspace members managing the work. Count both when planning your company rollout.

The reviewed VMock pages direct organization buyers to a demo or contact request. We did not find a public standalone Aspire price on those pages, so there is no verified like-for-like monthly price to quote here.

Which should you choose?

Choose Linkwiz when your responsibility is the LinkedIn presence of the company’s current team: finding profile gaps, helping employees make updates, following improvement and supporting relevant participation.

Choose VMock Aspire for career-oriented LinkedIn feedback and resume consistency when you have access to the module. For an institution or People team, evaluate the wider career-services or corporate-development package, including the Aspire access and reporting you actually need.

Use both only when you have both responsibilities: career support for eligible people and company-wide profile follow-up. If your need is already covered by one workflow, start there. This comparison does not assume a direct integration between Linkwiz and VMock.

The reviewed documentation establishes VMock’s career and organizational capabilities. It does not establish the same company-profile and public-participation workflow shown here; this is a comparison of documented uses, not a claim that every custom capability is unavailable.

Linkwiz progress comparisons require multiple available scans and a consistent employee selection. Participation totals reflect captured activity; they do not establish a causal business outcome.
