What we reviewed
We reviewed 66 providers and product families covering profile reviews, writing, photos, cover images and related LinkedIn profile work. We used public product, help, pricing and policy documentation. The initial inventory was assembled on 8 October 2026, selected sources were reviewed on 9 October, and organization offers and profile-history features received follow-up checks on 10 October.
Linkwiz publishes this research and was excluded from every research count. Related free and paid tools from the same provider count as one family. Additional comparison examples and Linkwiz’s own product documentation are separate from the 66-tool sample. This is a selected research sample, not a complete or representative survey of the market.
The four percentages and their counting rules

25 of 66. Documented assessment of an existing LinkedIn profile

Team or organization options among profile reviewers · 36%
9 of 25. Documented organization offer, multiple-profile support, shared workflow or bulk service; a team use case alone is insufficient. Provider-level group capability does not imply group profile-audit dashboard.
Included records: Resume Worded, Jobscan, Careerflow, Hiration, SkillsFirst, LinkedOptimizer.ai, Linqin, Postiv AI, AppLabx.
Profile history or comparisons over time among profile reviewers · 12%
3 of 25. Explicit profile history or comparisons across time; saved reports alone, manual reruns, a monthly score without documented comparisons/history and hypothetical rewrite comparisons excluded.
Included records: Careerflow, Linqin, Postiv AI.
Percentages are rounded to the nearest whole number. Writing and profile-review groups overlap. The 36% and 12% figures use the 25 profile-review options as their denominator, not all 66 tools. A group offer can mean career coaching, multiple-profile support, a shared workflow or a group service; it does not automatically mean a dashboard for reviewing employee profiles.
What counts as seeing improvement over time
A provider qualifies for the 12% figure when its documentation explicitly describes profile history or comparisons across time. Saved reports alone, the ability to run an individual review again, a monthly score without documented history or comparisons, and comparing a hypothetical rewrite with an existing profile do not qualify under this definition.
Careerflow describes LinkedIn profile history, Postiv describes saved audits and before/after comparisons, and Linqin describes a dashboard that tracks changes over time. These are documentation findings. We did not independently test how those features behave or whether they improve reach, leads or career outcomes.
How to read the inventory and sources
“Documented” means the reviewed provider sources explicitly describe the capability. “Not established” means the sources did not establish it; it does not mean that the feature is unavailable. Tools outside the 25-reviewer group are marked “Outside reviewer subset” for the two subset statistics. Their broader team features are not measured by those figures.
Each tool record links to its official page and supporting source records. Source notes retain the access level and the date of the documented review. An indexed-only reference was visible through search results but was not read as a complete page. Follow-up records are marked separately. This lets readers trace a claim without treating all sources as equally strong.
What this research does not measure
We did not run product trials or measure output quality, accuracy, adoption, time saved, pricing value or business results. Pricing, availability and plan entitlements can change. The percentages describe documented capabilities in this sample, not market share or a ranking of product quality.
Company connections are a separate qualitative insight. We did not assign an absence percentage to headline, cover image, profile-intro or workplace checks. General branding claims are not enough to establish a specific check, and missing documentation is not proof that a provider cannot perform it.
Research versions and corrections
The 10 October edition supersedes earlier group-offer counts that omitted documented organization offers. The current group count is 9 of 25 profile reviewers (36%). It also applies the explicit history/comparison definition above, giving 3 of 25 (12%). The public inventory uses these updated rules. Earlier working-sheet coding remains historical and is not the source for the published totals.
